Hmmm, well technically if this action made a real duotone used for two color printing, after running the action on an image the channel panel would show a duotone channel, not the three RGB channels. Also instead of an RGB being check under image-mode drop down menu, it should be Duotone checked in the mode under image drop down menu.
So these actions are great at producing looks like duotones or tritones or quadratones, these are not actual duotones that will reproduce in offset printing. Just saying…
